Greater Good Charities Joins the Washington state #GiveBIG Campaign

Did you know that Greater Good Charities is headquartered in Seattle?

In celebration of our home state, we are excited to announce our participation in the Washington Gives #GiveBig campaign.

GiveBig is a 48-hour giving marathon for nonprofits headquartered in or serving Washington State year-round. Early giving for GiveBig 2024 is happening now and will culminate in an event on May 7-8.

Good Fix Clinic in Washington

Our Good Fix team is on the ground in Washington State, performing a clinic to help with pet overpopulation. This clinic will spay and neuter free-roaming cats as well as owned cats and dogs. These clinics save lives and provide many community benefits, including reducing the risk of human and animal injury and disease. Combined, this increases pet longevity.

Greater Good Charities’ Impact in Washington State

Greater Good Charities has contributed over .7 million in cash and in-kind grants and program services directly to Washington State. Over the years, Greater Good Charities has supported emergency relief efforts, shelters and rescues, humanitarian aid, animal transport, and so much more.

Disaster Response

Our disaster response totals over .1 million in cash, in-kind grants, and aid. Last year, Greater Good Charities responded to the Spokane wildfires and provided relief during the COVID-19.

Good Packs

In the last three years, Greater Good Charities has distributed 2,000 Good Packs to people and pets in need in Washington State. These include survival and comfort supplies for those in times of crisis, including domestic violence survivors, victims of natural disasters, and people experiencing homelessness.

Rescue Rebuild

Rescue Rebuild is a shelter renovation program that focuses on improving people’s and pets’ lives. The Greater Good Charities team travels to shelters to take construction projects from concept to completion that improve the lives of humans and animals. We help animals in need in various settings: animal shelters, wildlife facilities, domestic violence shelters, and homeless and veteran housing.

Emergency Animal Medical

Over ,000 in grants have gone to cats and dogs in Washington State with medical emergencies. Pets like Campanita got a second chance at life. Brave Campanita received a quad-wheelchair for more significant movement and freedom.
